Mildred Loftin Meadows

Mildred L. Meadows, 93, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was a native of Alabama and had lived in Tallahassee for 61 years. She was employed by Equifax for 18 years. She retired in 1982 and enjoyed many happy years camping and traveling with her family. She was a member of the Timberlane Church of Christ and the Tallahassee Good Sam Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Milton V. Meadows. She is survived by 3 daughters, Alice M. Bishop (Dave), Little Rock, Ark., Vicki M. Threadgill (Dennis), Tallahassee, FL, Wanda M. Cacchiotti (Don), Loveland, Ohio, 6 grandchildren; Spencer Bishop (Heather), Little Rock, Ark., Jeremy Bishop (Beth), Conway, Ark., Amanda Sapp (Matt), Tallahassee, FL, Benjamin Threadgill (Lindsey), Tallahassee, FL, Tracy Cacchiotti, Milford Ohio, Scott Cacchiotti (Leanne), Maineville, Ohio, 8 great grandchildren; Alex Bishop, Bret Bishop, Isabella Bishop, Connor Bishop, Emeline Sapp, Nolan Sapp, Aiden Cacchiotti, and Brent Threadgill. 1 brother John Loftin (Joyce), Montgomery, AL and 1 sister-in-law, Verda Meadows, Birmingham, AL.

Family will receive friends at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home at 1737 Riggins Road on Monday, March 17 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 18 at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Big Bend Hospice, Timberlane Church of Christ Preschool, or charity of your choice.
