Michael Stephen Thomas

Mike has been a resident of Tallahassee since 1966.

He was born in Buffalo, NY to Michael (AKA Mario Spartaco Tamborelli) and Dorothy (Olday) Thomas on 11/05/1942. He is survived by his wife Patricia of 40 years, his two daughters Sage Morgan of Tallahassee and Karen Fenton Coleman of Newark,California, one grandchild Gabriel Coleman, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sisters Lillian (Branyon), Joyce (Klehn) and Kathryn (Bray).

Michael obtained a Bachelor's degree and did graduate work at Florida State University (FSU). Prior to retirement he worked 37 years with the State of Florida primarily at Florida State Hospital and in Aging and Adult Services and Children's Mental Health. He had been active in HAM radio, the Red Cross and the Episcopal Church.

The Memorial Service with reception following will be at Advent Episcopal Church at 815 Piedmont Drive, Tallahassee on Saturday 12/20/14 at 2PM. Michael will be interred at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Florida on 12/22/14 at 11AM.
