Lewis O. "Lou" Gray

Our Beloved Son, Lewis O. Gray (Lou), passed into a better place on August 11, 2012 at the age of 56.

Lewis was deeply loved by a large family.

He is survived by his parents, Lewis T. and Dorothy W. Gray of Tallahassee; his son, Travis McGlamory and Travis’ mother Becky Gray of Woodville; four siblings, James Kight of Vinton Louisiana, Roy Kight (Nikki) of Washington, North Carolina, Gail Grimes of Tallahassee and Charles Kight (Jane) of Nashville, Tennessee; and a close friend, Tracey Reese.

Lewis began working at Talquin Electric Company in 1974 immediately following graduation from Rickards High School. He worked with Talquin Electric for 38 years making many wonderful friends along the way. At various times throughout his life, he was an avid coon hunter, fisherman and softball player. He also enjoyed restoring and showing vintage motorcycles and automobiles. He loved life, family and friends.

Family will receive friends for visitation at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home 1737 Riggins Road on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from Culley’s Funeral home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Woodville White Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
