She was born in Mobile, Alabama on March 9, 1951. Kathleen was the youngest of three sisters.
Kathleen graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas.
She was married to Jonathan Bing Caudill on July 5, 1969 in Amarillo, Texas at First Baptist Church where her father J.R. Stroble served as Associate Pastor for many years. Kathleen retired after a 30 year banking career at Capital City Bank.
Kathleen and her husband Jon had a passion for RV traveling, enjoying many cross-country adventures visiting family and friends. She loved movies, bluegrass music, sunflowers, and time spent at their home recording studio designed and built by her husband Jon and his twin brother Joe. Kathleen treasured her collection of clocks and paperweights inherited from her parents. Her famous green chili burritos were a favorite with all the family. She was also a longtime fan of the Texas Longhorns.
Kathleen is survived by her sister Jessica Lyn Elkins and brother-in-law Dick Elkins of Gainesville, Florida. She was loved by many nieces and nephews.
She is now reunited with her beloved daughter Natalie Suzanne and her husband Jon.
Jonathan Bing Caudill, age 72, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
Jon was born in Charleston, West Virginia on September 18, 1947. Jon was a twin to his only sibling, his brother. He graduated from Leon High School in 1966 in Tallahassee, Florida and attended North Florida Junior College in Madison, Florida.
During his high school years, he and his brother Joe joined a rock & roll group known as the Uniques and performed for teen dances, proms, & sorority parties on the FSU campus. He was married to Kathleen Stroble Caudill on July 5, 1969 in Amarillo, Texas at the First Baptist Church where her father J.R. Stroble served as Associate Pastor for many years.
Jon worked for McGowan Electric and Westinghouse Electric Company before serving a long career with the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management & Division of Florida Building Codes, where he retired.
Jon and his wife Kathleen had a passion for traveling, enjoying the vast beauty to behold, they traveled in their motor home and enjoyed many cross-country adventures visiting family and friends. He loved his music as well as his Dad's Blue Grass style, and designed and dedicated a home recording studio to his Father and named it "Hagersons Tracks." Many hours of writing and recording were spent with his brother and fellow musicians, their music and songs will live on.
Jon is survived by his twin brother Joseph Alvin Caudill of Tallahassee, Florida. He also was loved by many nieces and nephews and was a good man who loved his family and friends.
He is now reunited with his beloved daughter Natalie Suzanne and his wife Kathleen.
A Celebration Gathering will be held on January 11, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312.
