Jessica Anne Morrison Rossman

Jessica Anne Morrison Rossman, 33, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on October 29, 2023, in an automobile accident. Jessica was born on December 7, 1989, to Richard and Jackie Morrison in Tallahassee, Florida. Jessica was a full-time mom. Jessica had cystic fibrosis which led to a double lung transplant in 2014. This gave Jessica the opportunity to live her life to the fullest.

Jessica’s son, Ryan Rossman, was her greatest joy in life. They stayed busy with baseball, lessons at SBA, homework, travel, and many different adventures with him and his friends. It was a priority to Jessica to make lasting memories together. Jessica was a member of Seminole Baptist Church. Jessica displayed her faith by her walk with God. Jessica’s favorite scripture was Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This was Jessica’s life motto.

We would like to thank the staff at Shands Hospital and the staff at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for all you did for Jessica through the years. We would also like to thank Dr. Thomas Austin Zorn and his staff for the excellent care and support they have always given Jessica. We want to thank Brycen, Chase, Dylan and Eli (Ryan’s Friends) for being there for Ryan. When you five were together you always brought Jessica so much joy. Thank you, Seminole Baptist Church Family, for all the love and support you always gave Jessica.

Jessica is survived by her son, Ryan Rossman, her parents, Richard and Jackie Morrison, her sister, Katy Morrison (Austin Tryon, Fiancé), her grandparents, Ray and Anne Morrison, Calvin and Erma Read, Uncles and Aunts, Cousins and many friends.

Jessica’s boyfriend, Ian Foor, passed away with Jessica. He was so good to Jessica and Ryan. We are thankful for the time they had together.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Seminole Baptist Church, 3330 Mission Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32303. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the church.

We already miss Jessica so much but know she is breathing easy in Heaven with Jesus.
