Janice A Tucker

Janice Tinsley Tucker, 71, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Margaret Z. Dozier Hospice House. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 at White Church in Woodville with burial to follow in Woodville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Culley’s MeadowWood Riggins Road Chapel.

Mrs. Tucker was a longtime Woodville resident and a lifelong dedicated member of White Church. She loved her flowers, especially roses and she enjoyed the birds they brought to her yard. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and a giving and selfless person.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Tucker, her parents, James and Hettie Tinsley and her brother, Elwood. Survivors include her son, Todd Tucker (Rhonda), daughters, Kimberly Garcia (Mike) and Robin Hindle (Kurt), her brothers; Vernon Tinsley (Carol), Russell Tinsley (Ruby) and Larry Tinsley, sisters, Emma Stokes (Wayne), Ellie Melton, Gaynell Purvis and Janie Long and five grandchildren; Erin Hindle, Adam Hindle, Matthew Tucker, Ryan Garcia and Angelina Garcia. Culley MeadowWood Riggins Road in charge of arrangements.
