Jane was born in Tallahassee on January 27, 1947, to Sinclair Wells Powell and Clote Rose Givens Powell. She was a loving and devoted mother to her two kids and four grandchildren.
Jane was a cherished pillar of our community, known for kindness, warmth, generosity, and dressing to the nines. She was a dedicated Tallahassee Realtor for thirty-seven years.
She is survived by her two children, Jamie Matthew Lee and Jodi Denise Lee. Other survivors include her sister, Clarice Powell of Apalachicola, her grandchildren Taylor Brooke Lee Upton (Joshua), Haven Grant Wolk, Keeler Parker Lee, and McKenna Jane Wolk. Nieces include Kim White (Kevin), Tara McDonald (Danny), Gretchen Schneider, and Tory Gross, Courtney Camper (Alan), and a nephew Cody White(Emily).
A memorial visitation for Jane will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32312. Following the memorial visitation will be a celebration of life at 2:00 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32312.
