Harold R Hansen, age 93, passed away on August 8, 2014 in the caring hands of Covenant Hospice in Tallahassee, FL. Harold was born in 1921 in Clarendon, PA. Most of his family still resides there as well as in Springerville, AZ. Harold moved to Tallahassee in 1956 just after his deployment with the US Air Force. He was an active member and commander of the American Legion and the 40 and 8.
Harold was always very energetic in life. He was employed by the State of Florida as a chemist, followed by the maintenance superintended of Sunland.
You could always find Harold out dancing, whether it be round or square-dancing with the Capital Squares or Whilaways, or western dancing with his class at Lake Ella. When Harold wasn’t dancing, you could find him deep in the wilderness hunting.
He is survived by a long list of loving family members and true friends.
Arrangements are being made through Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home. No services will be held in Tallahassee.
