Velma Geraldine Edwards, 91, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away on February 27, 2022. She was born on December 6, 1930, to Marie and Cyril Dickey.
She graduated Forest High School in 1947. In 1948, she married Lee Morton Edwards. She worked 30 for The State of Florida, and was member of The Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile Organizations.
She is survived by her two sons, Victor of Lamont and Richard of Tallahassee; granddaughter, Danielle and great-grandson, Isaiah.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday March 4, 2022 at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, FL.
