What a wonderful man this world has lost, but he is much more fortunate than those of us left here on earth. This was a total surprise when I went onto my computer tonight. I am so sorry I was not aware of his death until now and was not able to say my good byes. I will be praying for all of the family.

Sorry to hear of Buss's passing. We worked together in Financial Responsibility Division from 1965 to 1970. He was God father to my daughter.

I am so sorry to hear about Buzz.  My prayers are with you and your family.

We have been grateful for all of your and his efforts when Adam passed.  We have always appreciated his Christian dedication, his humor, courtliness and Southern memories (particularly as Tallahasse's unofficial mayor and goodwill ambassador).  His love of Donna, his children and the lights of his life  his grandchildren, are the things that are rare in this day and age and should be an example to us all.   Rest in peace, Mr. Buzz, and enjoy watching and following FSU among the fans up in heaven.

Mrs. Donna and family, I'm so sorry to learn of Buzzy's passing. My brother and Buzzy were in band together at Leon.  One phrase stands out when I think of Buzzy, referring to Mr. Hobbs was, Careful Mr. Hobbs or you will bubble over  nickname Bubbles. Please take heart in knowing he was loved by many and will be missed.

Dear Donna, Bobby, Meredith and Cash,

I was totally shocked when I opened up the Democrat today and saw the notice about Buzzy's passing.  I am so sorry and you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.  I've had a long history with the wonderful Hunter family.  Your mother-in-law was one of my mother's dear friends for at least 40+ years, she was a member of the first kindergarten team I taught with and she watched over me like a mother (loved her so). Margaret and Buzzy were always part of my Westminster memories and Buzzy as one of the senior sousaphone players when I was a sophmore in band at Leon.  He was always such a friendly and loving person when around me.  Of course, once I had Meredith in my kindergarten class and got to meet you, I felt a even closer relationship with your wonderful family.  You were a great help in the classroom and Buzzy was always available to help out if needed.  Your children were so lucky to have him as their father.  I last saw Buzzy last Christmas at Bass & Pro while you all were in line for a Christmas photo with Santa.  You didn't see me, I was at the back of the line with one of my grandsons waiting to get his picture made.  I was hoping to catch your attention, but you all were at the front of the line and unfortunately I wasn't able to get you all to look my way.  Meredith looked wonderful and you both looked like such proud grandparents.  With fond memories, prayers, sympathy and hugs to all of you.  Ann Ragsdale (Allan, too)

Donna - I'm deeply sorry to hear about Buzzy. He and I were in the Leon Band together during his senior year and my sophomore. He always had a playful style but could be very serious when needed. He was a good man and will be missed. My thoughts a prayers are with you and your family.

  I am so sorry Mr. Buzzy is gone.  Our families have a lot of memories together, especially for me growing up with the younger two Hunters.  No words can sooth the hurt you're feeling, but I hope the photos and memories of him will bring smiles and even laughter (those bathing suit shots are awesome!).  Sending you comfort during this time.

We are praying for comfort and peace for you all! Although we never knew Buzz, we came to know his wonderful example as a father to Cash. May the peace of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

I haven't seen Buzzy since I was a little girl. He and my big brother were friends since the 6th grade. I remember stories that Keith told about their friendship. My sincerest condolences to Buzzy's family. The world has lost a great man.

Donna and family:
Buzzy will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.  He was a kind and gentle man, and a true friend to his friends.  We both shared our high school years with Buzzy in the Leon High Band and would run into him occasionally around town where we would catch up. We will miss him but we intend to see him again one day soon.  Thoughts and prayers for your family at this time.

So very sorry about Buzzy.  He was a good friend and family man.  I will always remember the good old days in FR at the Larson bldg...You two have made a lot of blessed memories and I hope this will comfort you at this time of sorrow.
