He was a graduate of the University of SC at Aiken. He served his country with honor as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps where he worked as an avionics technician. After his service, he had a long, successful career as a biomedical engineer with Siemens Healthcare.
Chris, unbeknownst to him, was loved, respected, and adored by so many. Everything he did, he did with passion and purpose. He was deeply intellectual and always willing to share his newly acquired, though mostly irrelevant, facts with his friends and family. He had a love for knowledge and an innate desire to please his inner curiosity. He was funny, entertaining, adventurous, handsome, kind, and loving. He was an award winning marksman, avid outdoorsman, a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a chess aficionado, a Rubik’s cube expert, and a talented artist. He was so many things, but his most coveted role was that of husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, son, and friend (do you know his friends Dan and Brandy?) To most, he was simply a great man.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tina, and his children Avery, Nicolas, Tyler, & Haleigh; Sisters Amity Seymour, April Schneider, & Patricia Harrell; Brother-in-Law Leonard Alexander; Brothers Marcus Bishop & Clifton Harrell; Nephews Dustin Hopson, Alex Schneider, Jon and Jonathon Seward, & JT Vaughn; Nieces Hailey & Rylan Seymour, Envy & Eniyah Squire, Jacelyn Smith, Brittany Harrell, & Erica & Theresa Seward; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
