Beverly lived her life to the fullest and always cherished the simple things in life. She had a love for the outdoors and nature. Watching sunsets, listening to the birds sing, taking care of her flowers and the color changing of the leaves in the fall were just a few of the things she liked. She loved to go fishing and enjoyed her time spent with family and friends at their camper. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and she never let them forget that. She will be remembered for her natural beauty inside and out, her infectious smile and loving heart.
Beverly is survived by her children, Ronda Scoggins (Johnny) of Toccoa, Georgia, Tommy Hill (Jamie) of Havana, Florida, Arthur Blackburn (Jackie) of Tallahassee, Florida, Scarlett Blackburn of Hosford, Florida; her beloved companion and best friend, James Sirmons of Crawfordville, Florida; 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Arthur D. Blackburn; mother, Emma Lou McCormick; grandparents, David and Bertha Jones; and other loved one, Justin Sirmons.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, July 23, 2023 from 1:00-3:00pm at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida.
