Maybe being born so close to Independence Day had an effect on Betty. She was a very independent lady and a consummate hostess . Her dinners were plentiful and delicious and she didn’t eat until everyone else was seated and had their plates full.
Teaching was her chosen profession. She devoted her entire self to her students. She taught in Brevard County, Alachua County and Leon County. She retired from Woodville Elementary School.
In addition to her parents Betty was predeceased by her brother, Earl Ryan of Tallahassee.
Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jensen H. Audioun of Tallahassee; her sister, Peggy (Jerry) Price of Birmingham, AL; two nephews, Andy (Beth) Price and Robby (Karen) Price; one grand niece, Emily, and three grand nephews, Matthew, Adam and Jack.
