Timmy Lynn Ivie was born on Sunday, January 11th, 1959, in Wichita, KS, the son of Owen Jackson and Opal Louise (keck) Ivie. He grew up with two brothers and two sisters, Michael Ray, Curtis Adrian, Marcheta and Monica. He attended school and then began his career at Greenleaf Nursery. When he wasn’t working, he could be found talking the day away on his phone, hanging around with the family he adored or kicking back to relax with a little music and a lit cigarette. He was the kind of man that once he met you, you were his friend for life. He was fun to be around because of his wonderful sense of humor, and his ability to make you smile. Timmy called Sugar Mountain home for 17 years, and he made many friends along the way. Timmy would help anyone who asked him, and never expected anything in return, his was a giving heart. A Christian by faith, Timmy was called to his heavenly home on Friday, January 25th, 2019 in Tahlequah, OK. He was 60 years old. He will be greatly missed.
Timmy is preceded in death by his mother, Opal Louise Ivie-Taylor, and his father, Owen Ivie, along with two brothers, Michael Ivie and Curtis Taylor, and his step father, Bill Taylor.
