Funeral services for Sally Ann Lawley-Fahrman will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016 at 2:00 Pm at Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Bill Holcomb officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13th, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will be held at Levi-Cookson Cemetery in Keys, OK. Sally Ann Lawley-Fahrman was born on Novemebr 16th, 1935 in Cookson, OK, the daughter of Frank and Cherry (Fritts) Lawley. She attended junior high school at Central and then completed her schooling at Tahlequah High School. She met and married Everett Kelley and they raised a family of three children, Kenneth, Keith and Kathy. She would marry Max Odell Phelps and they had a son, Sean. On September 27th, 1986, she married Eugene L. Fahrman in Muskogee, OK. This union was blessed with 26 years of love and laughter until Gene’s passing in 2013. Sally was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked for years as a food service worker at the Oklahoma School for the Blind in Muskogee. She was well suited for this job as Sally was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden at home and made pickles every year. She enjoyed an outing to the flea markets and garage sales hunting a bargain. When she had a little free time, she would crochet and do word find and crossword puzzles. She loved her family and any time spent with them was very special indeed. She was kind, supportive and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was happy to see that everyone in her household was well cared for. She was a Christian by faith and went to her heavenly home on June 7th, 2016 at home with her loving family by her side. She was 80 years old. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, one son, Keith Kelley, one daughter, Kathy Kelley-Nagro in 1980, two brothers, Edward and Bobby Lawley, and one sister, Molene Ramsey.
Those left to cherish Sally’s memory include her son, Sean Phelps and wife Tonya of the home in Muskogee, and Kenneth Kelley and wife Vicki of La Barge, WY. She leaves one brother and one sister, Bill Lawley and wife Evon of Yuba City, CA and Rosie Smith and husband Raymond of Coalinga, CA. She will live on in her 8 grandchildren, Benjamin Phelps, Isaac Phelps and wife Alynicia, Kimberly Scheerer, Kris Kelley, Gary Kelley, Gregg Kelley, Brian Blankenship, Benjamin Blankenship, Karrie Nagro, and Jeremy Starr. There are 21 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
