Tahlequah, OK – Funeral services for Ronnie James Lamb will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2014 at 10:00 am at Oaks Gymnasium with Lance Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Reed-Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK Monday, July 28th, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.reedculver.com.
Pallbearers for Ronnie include Will Gibson, Hector Ortiz, Andrew Ortiz, Reggie Allen, Jason Carnell, Eugene Rackleff, Jimmy Fanning, and Jonathan Stonecipher. Honorary pallbearers include Dennis Lamb and Steve (Bear) Smith.
Ronald James Lamb was born on September, 24th, 1956 in Tahlequah, OK. He graduated from Oaks High School in 1974. In 1976, he married the love of his life, Kathy Lynn Osburn. Their union was blessed with two children, a son and a daughter. He was a hard worker and worked as the maintenance man for Redbud Housing for many years. When he wasn’t working, Ronnie enjoyed drag racing, hunting, fishing, playing ball, coaching Bucky, playing ball with Brayden in the living room everytime he was there and helped all his nieces and nephews any way he could when it came to playing ball. And of course, stopping and visiting everyone he knew between Oaks and Kansas every day. Ronnie’s health began to fail and he was called home from his labors on July 22, 2014 in Fayetteville, AR. He was 57 years old.
Those preceding Ronnie in death include his dad, Silas James Lamb, Oaks, OK, father-n-law, Ira Bradford Osburn and his grandparents and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his cherished wife of 38 years, Kathy Lamb, one son, Bucky Lamb and Victoria of Rocky Ford, OK; one daughter, Karona Carroll and her husband Basil of Waterfall Holler, OK; his mother-n-law Joyce Osburn, his mother, three brothers and two sisters. His legacy lives on through his two grandchildren, Brayden and Kamden Carroll of Waterfall Holler, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
