Leta Faye Freeman-Wright was born on October 5th, 1950, in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of Walter and Dortha (McHolland) Freeman. She loved life in the comforts of her own home. She attended school at Tahlequah. She would later marry and raise two children, Jimmy Charles and Elizabeth Faith. She was blessed with a keen mind for dates and names, often remembering the birthdays of family members and other important dates in the family. She was fond of family genealogy and spent hours remembering the ancestral names and events that shaped who they were. She liked to collect purses and spent hours arranging their contents carefully. A Christian by faith, she was a member of Union Full Gospel Church for many years, until her health prevented her attending. There were always church services at the nursing home and she attended every chance she got. Her health began to decline and the Lord called her home from her labors on December 6th, 2014 in Tahlequah, OK. She was 64 years old.
Leta is preceded in death by her mother and her father and her grandparents.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Jimmy Wright Jr. of Tahlequah, OK, and daughter, Elizabeth Wright of Tahlequah, OK. She also leaves one brother, Keith Freeman and wife Vina of Tahlequah, OK, and one grandson, Jakoby Walker of Tahlequah, OK as well as many cousin , nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones.
