Esther Sequichie-Ridge was born on April 2nd, 1946 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of John and Peggy (Washington) Sequichie. She was one of six children in the household. On December 13, 2002 she married Watie “Bill” Ridge in Arkansas, and they spent seventeen years together. Esther enjoyed being outdoors, always taking the opportunity to drop a line in her favorite fishing hole, tinker in in her flower bed, or watch the lights of her life, her grandchildren, play ball. She had a kind heart and an open door for anyone that might need a place to crash for the night or simply sit and talk for a while. When the weather kept Esther from enjoying one of her many outdoor activities, she could be found watching westerns, a favorites being Gun Smoke, or the only team worth watching, the New York Yankees. Esther had an eye for jewelry and spent countless hours shopping for the perfect piece to add to her very large collection. She was a kind hearted person, but never missed the chance to be a little ornery. On May 1, 2019 this loving women closed her eyes and found rest in the Lord.
