Dennis Darrell Millspaugh was born on September 12th, 1951 in Artesia, California, the son of Melvin and Sarah (Williams) Millspaugh. He attended school, and upon graduation, enlisted into the US Marine Corp, serving honorably for 8 years. When he became a civilian, he began a career in construction doing carpentry work, his last position being with Bearwood Concepts in Tulsa. On March 23rd, 2012, he married his love, best friend and companion, Christine Glass in Miami, OK. He centered his world around his wife, family and friends. He enjoyed the family getting together for holidays, family picnics, or sporting events. He was a huge OU fan, never missing a chance to see his Sooners in action. He liked time spent in his shop, crafting objects in wood. He was a Christian by faith, and was always quoting “ God’s got my back!” Dennis held great faith in his God to see him through the daily struggle, and to allow him joy even in the tough times. Dennis enjoyed life to its fullest, but his health declined. The Lord took this good and faithful servant home on Friday, February 5th, 2016 in Tulsa, OK, with his loved ones gathered by his side. He was 64 years old. He will be greatly missed for his love, and that famous smile.
Dennis is preceded in death by his stepson, Cary Crittenden of Westville, OK.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Christine Millspaugh of West Siloam Springs, OK, his parents, Melvin and Sarah Millspaugh of Wagoner, OK, daughter Kitty Stoufflet of Cherokee City, AR, three stepsons, Dewayne Crittenden and wife Pam of Kansas, OK, Samuel Crittenden of Kansas, OK, and Chris Crittenden and wife Jennifer of Siloam Springs, AR.
