Candice Jade Pryor-Smith

Funeral services for Candice Jade Pryor~Smith will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Sequoya High School Gymnasium with Pastor Albert Wofford and Pastor Richard Budder officiating. Interment will be in New Jordan Cemetery in Salina, OK. Services have been entrusted to Reed~Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

Pallbearers for Candice include Michael Stone, Sanders Mouse, Kevin Hair, Dmitri Ramirez, Brandon Cheater, and Steven Locust.

Honorary Pallbearers include Jacob Bark, Cole Grogan, Dalton Grogan, Brent Bluebird, and Dustin Laconsello.

Candice Jade Pryor~Smith was born on March 20, 1995 in Tahlequah, OK the daughter of Justin Smith and Monica (Bark) Flynn. Candice was a student at Marble City and more recently at Salina, OK. Candice loved sports of all kinds and played fast pitch for Salina, basketball for Marble City, and was a cheerleader as well. She possessed a magical smile and a great laugh to go with it. She could make the darkest moment bright. She was happy just to spend time with her family and friends. Candice was a Christian and a member of Little Rock Baptist Church and attended Euwasha Baptist Church and other area churches where she could celebrate the joy she found in her Lord and Savior. The Lord called Candice home on August 10, 2010 in an auto accident. She was fifteen years old. Candice leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter her friends and family will not soon forget.

She is preceded in death by her Grandmothers, Katie Stopp, Louise Dry, and Sarah Blossom and her Aunt Susie Blossom.

Candice’s memory will be treasured by her loving parents, Monica Flynn and husband Jeff of Sallisaw, Justin Smith and wife Terrie of Pryor, OK, maternal grandparents, Floyd and Dorothy Bark of Stilwell, Paternal grandparents, Mac and Rhonda Flynn, Carl Smith and Sandra Dry-Turner of Salina, OK, and Deloris Pryor of Boatman, OK. Her great grandparents include Claude Dry, Great grandmother Ruby Sanders, and Clarence and Marion Smith. Candice has two brothers and five sisters, Uriah Flynn of Sallisaw, Dustin Laconsello of Pryor, Cori Butcher of Sallisaw, Lahonna Flynn of Sallisaw, Kandell Smith of Pryor, Sam Laconsello of Pryor, Taylor Laconsello of Pryor as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends and loved ones.
