Harold Lee Krieg, 91, of Taft, Texas passed away August 31, 2018. He was born in Taylor, Texas on April 4, 1927 and was a graduate of Gregory High School. He served in the Army and was a retired foreman for Reynolds Metals Company. He married Elmina Bell on June 21, 1952. She preceded him in death in 2010. Harold was a member of the Kiwanis, Taft Volunteer Fire Department, AARP and The German Society.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Sam Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Susan Krieg; two grandsons, Jon Krieg and Steven Krieg and three sisters, Norine Bernsen, Lillian Heese and Jeanette Zarasky.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1040 Gregory St. Taft, Texas. Burial will follow in Taft Memorial Park Cemetery.
