A  Tribute of Love to Mr. Zachary David Oliver
   
On August 17,2013, we will celebrate the life of a loving son, dear brother, a great father, and good friend. We have experienced such a great unexpected loss, but are comforted in knowing that Zachary David Oliver has gone on home to be with Junior, Valerie, Naomi and Pops. It is times like these that we are comforted in knowing that no matter how long this night may last in our lives , our joy will come in the morning.
Our brother Zach was stately ,tall and firm like a cat-o-nine-tails with a smile that only he owned. He was our baby brother, the youngest of us all, and we along with everyone who had the privilege of knowing him will miss him more than words can say and he will be in our thoughts and hearts forever.
Our brother loved to dress and he definitely had “swag”. Zachary was definitely a character, to know Zach was to love Zach.
As we honor his memory on Saturday August 17, 2013, and we bid him farewell we will try not to be sorrowful for to long, because we do believe to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ, but we will miss him. Yes we will cry, we will also smile,even laugh from all the memories he has left with us. Zachery, even though your time with us was much too brief, we will cherish every memory, because no one will ever take the place of tall, sporty, Zachary. As we conclude this tribute we would like to leave you all with this poem;

Not, how did he die, but how did he live?
Not, what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer, 
to bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say, 
but how many were sorry when he passed away?
Zachary's song may have come to an end, but his memory will linger….
