Katherine Cusano

Katherine C. Cusano, 97, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday peacefully at James Square. A life resident of the Syracuse area she retired from Caroma Restaurant after 45 years as a Chef. Katherine was a beloved, wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother and was very devoted to her family and her biggest joy was cooking for her family and friends. Mrs. Cusano was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband, Domenick L. Cusano in 1984 and six brothers and sisters.

Katherine is survived by her children, Jack (Melissa) Cusano of Granite Bay, CA, Russell (Michelle) Cusano of Overland Park, KS and Anna Marie (Dennis) O’Brien of Syracuse; brother, Salvatore (Celia) Pullano of Camillus; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
