Raymond Wensley Bolton

Mr. Raymond Wensley Bolton, 83, of Statesboro, Georgia, passed away Saturday morning, September 10, 2016, at his residence following a long illness.

The Screven County native was born February 11, 1933, to the late Mildred Bragg Bolton Brown and Clifford Hobson Bolton. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran, a retired self-employed automobile mechanic and attended the Emmitt Grove Baptist Church in Bulloch County.

Besides his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his step-father: H. P. Brown, Jr. and a brother, Bobby Bolton.

Survivors include, his wife: Laura Ethel Wise Bolton of Statesboro, a daughter and son-in-law: Renee Bolton and Ken Kirkland of Statesboro, a son and daughter-in-law: Eric and Stacey Bolton of Guyton, Georgia, 4 Grandchildren: C. Jay Wiley of Statesboro, West Wiley of Savannah, Georgia, Erica Diffenderfer of Gainesville, Florida, and Olivia Bolton of Guyton.

A private funeral service will be held.

Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
