Robert Whitley

Goodwater, AL. - Robert Whitley, age 86, of Goodwater, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. Robert was born October 1, 1933 in Clanton, Alabama to Argo Whitley and Alice Lee Johnson.

Robert is survived by his wife of 67 years, Myrtice Whitley; son Robert W. Whitley (Wanda) of Goodwater, Alabama; and son Michael J. Whitley (Peggy) of Goodwater, Alabama.

Robert was preceded in death by daughter Janice Whitley, and his mother Alice Johnson.

Mr. Whitley also leaves 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren to cherish his memory.

A visitation for Robert will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sylacauga Church of Christ. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Mike Kizer and Bro. Roy Johnson officiating with a burial to follow at Hollins Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Michael Andrews, Brian Johnson, Ben Johnson, Ted Thrash, Tim Bowden and Jason Melton.
