Mrs. Mary E. Greene of Elmore, AL, formerly of Sylacauga, died January 8, 2011 at Sunbridge at Merrywood Lodge in Elmore. She was 81. A native of Sylacauga, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lois Jackson Greene. She is survived by her daughters, Nina McCormick (Larry) of Clanton, AL and Rita Smith (Duane) of Wetumpka, AL; a brother, Charles Parker of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Jason Smith, Brandon Smith, Ben McCormick and Beth McCormick Meank; as well as 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 5:30 until 8:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel. Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 14th in the chapel with the Rev. Eddie Forbus officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Duane Smith, Jason Smith, Larry McCormick, Brandon Smith, Casey Meank and Ben McCormick.Arrangements under the direction of Curtis and Son Funeral Home, Sylacauga, AL.
