Mary E. (Liz) Crowe Strickland

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Mary E. (Liz) Crowe Strickland, 86, will be Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Mike Frost and Bro. Hubert Gentry officiating. Burial will be in Tallasahatchie Cemetery in Alpine, AL.

Mrs. Strickland passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.H. Crowe and husband, Roy Strickland; son, Roger Dale Crowe; daughter, Retha Deloris Millender; parents, Sell Mack and Emma Sinclair; great-grandchildren, Jason, Hannah, and Sarah; brothers, Bunk and Lewis; sister, Dinah; and her son-in-law William Garrison. Mrs. Strickland was a member of Papertown Baptist Church in Alpine, AL. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Strickland is survived by three children, Henry Crowe wife Nancy of Albury, CA, Carolyn Gentry husband Hubert of Sylacauga, AL, and Linda Garrison of Ball Ground, GA; two grandsons, Scotty Millender and Mathew Millender; 16 other grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Green; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Horton, Mark Horton, Billy Garrison, Hunter Hurst, Anthony Horton, and Gavin Horton. Honorary pallbearers will be David Garrison and Corey Horton.
