James "Jason" Newton Sanders II

Childersburg, AL - James Newton Sanders II (Jason) went to be with his Savior on August 23rd, 2021. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney Smith Funeral Home Sylacauga, AL with Brother Russell Gooden officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Internment will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Childersburg, AL.

Jason was born to Newton and Brenda Sanders on November 4th, 1969.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jack and Jess Sanders and Hoyt and Vera Prickett.

He is survived by his wife, Kerri Malouf Sanders, son Michael Sanders, daughter Haley Katherine Sanders and son Jack Sanders, parents Newton & Brenda Sanders, sister Haley Matthews (Ryan), sister/cousin Tracie Kelley (Tim), Aunt Bonita Hughes (Elmer), Uncle Merle Sanders (Deb) and a host of friends and family that loved him dearly.

The family would like to thank CVMC nurses and staff along with Southern Care New Beacon Hospice for the outstanding care Jason and his family received and a special thank you to family friend Darrell Lee.

Pallbearers will be Tim Kelley, Ronnie Forbus, Chuck Gooden, Jerry Todd Sanders, Jonas Sanders and Jesse Lane Sanders.

The family request that everyone wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the FBC Sylacauga Forward in Faith fund.
