Carlos Aubrey Connell

Sylacauga, AL. - Carlos Aubrey Connell, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

Carlos is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lorraine Connell; daughters, Stephanie Rains, Shannon McLaughin, Deanna Bearden (Troy), Jessica Duke (Marcus Gover); sisters, Carolyn Hay, Brenda Nicholson; grandchildren, Kristie Bottsford, Kandi McLaughin, Miles McLaughin, Sydney Bearden White, Aron Duke, Kazden Duke; and 8 great grandchildren.

Carlos was preceded in death by his father, Crit Connell; mother, Lillian Connell Blewer; sister, Faye Bice, Glenda Ray; and grandson, Cameron Aubrey Bearden.

Carlos loved hunting, fishing, and having a Dove shoot with friends and family and with his good friend Roger Blair. He also enjoyed swapping stories and lies with his "Riggins Town" buddies. He also liked riding with "Hawk Bill" around Talladega County.

A visitation for Carlos will be Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 N. Elm Ave., Sylacauga, AL 35150.
