Bonnie J. Booth, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, has passed away at the age of 66. She was born on August 16, 1954 in Sylacauga, Alabama to the late Marvin and Josephine Henry (nee Varner). Bonnie was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 19, 2023.
Bonnie was a woman who brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Her infectious laugh and radiant smile brightened the lives of those around her. She will be remembered for her warm and caring nature, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
She graduated from River Forest High School as part of the class of 1973. Bonnie had a deep passion for sports and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. She loved cheering on her favorite team and shared that enthusiasm with her friends and family.
One of Bonnie's greatest joys in life was spending time outdoors. She had a deep appreciation for nature and cherished moments of tranquility while fishing or simply enjoying the warmth of the sun on her face. Bonnie was also a devoted dog mom, finding solace and companionship in the company of her beloved pets.
Bonnie had a strong faith and was an active member of Moraine Valley Church. Her relationship with God was of utmost importance to her, and she found great comfort and guidance in her spiritual journey. Through her church community, she formed lasting connections and friendships that enriched her life.
In the digital age, Bonnie embraced social media and formed a large Facebook group of friends. She enjoyed staying connected with loved ones, sharing memories, and spreading positivity through her online presence. Her engaging personality and genuine care for others made her an unforgettable presence in the digital world.
Bonnie leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her surviving family members. She is survived by her sister, Mary Dodson, and her daughter, Melissa Bagley. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Jirtle, and her daughters, Jamie Hattabaugh and Nicole Jirtle along with her late sister Tammy's children, Taylor Bryant and Presley Bryant. Her brother, Richard Henry, and his wife, Nadia, along with his son, Ryan will also cherish her memory. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Bill Booth, her sister Tammy Bryant and her nephew Iain Henry.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Weogufka, Alabama, where Bonnie will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Bill.
Bonnie will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her contagious laughter, radiant smile, and unwavering love for her family, friends, and faith. May she find eternal peace in the embrace of her heavenly Father.
