Mary Louise Burns

Born in Neil's Harbour, Nova Scotia, Mary Lou was the daughter of Gerald and Marion (Donavan) Burns. Mary Lou was a kind and forgiving person who loved horses and reading.

Mary Lou is survived by her son Greg Burns and her partner John A. MacDonald who will miss her greatly.

Mary Lou is predeceased by her parents; Gerald and Marion, her son; Jeremy, her sisters; Doris, Lee, Jerry and Debra.

We would like to thank the ICU staff of The Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the care given to Mary Lou.

Mary Lou is in the care of TW Curry Parkview Chapel and per her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a Funeral Service held at TW Curry Parkview Chapel, 755 George St. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bill Legge officiating.
