I offer my deepest condolences to Jean’s family.  I was fortunate to meet Jean when we both lived in the same senior’s complex.  We became very good friends, often enjoying lunch or tea at her place or mine.  We went for drives many times either visiting people or shopping.  It was a pleasure to have her for my friend.  Miss and love her always.

My sister Marie Boudreau called me yesterday to tell me your mom had passed away. Our deepest condolences to all her family. Our mother, Edna Boudreau and your mom Jean we’re great friends. Mom always talked about Jean and her sister Louise and all the fun they had in the Red Hatters and talking on the phone and visiting one another. Mom always looked forward to picking them up on Saturday night to go to mass at St Theresa’s. When I’d go home for a visit I always made sure to take mom to the Cove to visit your mom.  Marie and I went to visit Jean last summer when I was home but she was gone out for a drive with one of her daughters. We did manage to go visit Louise and were quite surprised to see her in a wheel chair and not able to socialize. God love her and your mom. May Jean Rest In Peace Amen. I’m sure my mother was waiting at the pearly Gates when Jean arrived in heaven with her arms opened wide to greet her dear friend.

Ricky and family I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.  Jean was a very classy lady who will always be remembered for her devoted faith.  Jean did a marvelous job raising her family.  Cherish the memories

Jean has been a part of the cove for as long as I was there. I’ve been working there since 2012 and I seen our Jean walk through our door. She was her own boss, she had her own mind and she knew it. If she didn’t want to do something, she didn’t. She loved to dance and she loved music. She would come out for lunch and supper outing and I’ll never forget what she always ordered. toasted tomato sandwich, little fries coffee and desert was coconut cream pie. Never failed, always the same. 
She loved the afternoon coffee and sometimes she would take a baked good with it. She would always talk about her trying to lose weight and keep herself in shape, lol omg Jean you were so tiny!! We have so many stories. She dressed up for Halloween and walked everywhere. No matter how many times we or her daughters tried to get her to use the walker she wouldn’t give up her independence. I’ll miss you Jean and your ever loving smile with glowing personality 

So sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a special lady who never seemed to age. She had a good sense of humor and was always very friendly. I got to see her and know her from the KOC and other Bingo games for a number of years. She will be missed and it will be strange to not see her again with that beautiful, kind face. May she rest in peace and I hope with the help of family, friends and  all your good memories of Jean bring you some comfort and peace .

RIP Jean.  There were always so many memories growing up. Going over to sleep at nights because I didn’t want to sleep home, didn’t matter the we were all in one bed. I was still welcome.  She was a wonderful mother, aunt, sister , grandmother and great grandmother
