James Alwyn Clark, 86, died peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, after a short illness.
Aubie was born in Sydney, Oct. 20, 1925, the son of the late George and Vivian (Nunn) Clark.
Aubie grew up in Ashby and was self-employed, operating Clark’s Service Station, Taxi & Driving School, Dairy Freeze and lastly Clark’s Used Furniture on Grand Lake Road.
He is survived by sisters, Zita, Gina, Kaye Marie, with whom he resided, and Sheila; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Gerald and George.
There will be no visitation for the late Mr. Clark. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa’s Church, on Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Charles Cameron officiating. Interment will be at St. Theresa’s Cemetery, Grand Lake Road.
