Dingwall
Anna Jane Fraser, age 81, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2019 with loved ones by her side. She went on to go join her husband, Murdock; sons Angus, Mark and Simon; grandsons, Jessie, Hugh-Murdock and step-grandson Glenford, along with family members who passed on before her.
Born in Black Point, the daughter of the late Rory and Cassie MacKinnon. Anna was a sister to her eleven siblings. Those left to mourn are sisters Hannah, Christie, Rose, Effie; brother Shoggy; her children Vivian (Jack), Danny (Wanda), Lawrence (Tootsie), Rose (Nelson) and Andy. Also surviving are her 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
There were many days Mom and Dad could be found on the sea, fishing with their children. She enjoyed baking and cooking for family gatherings. You could often find her bare feet in the grass, enjoying her flower garden. As her illness progressed, she loved to play cards and bingo.
We would like to say a special thank you to Danika (Daffa down dilly) for spending many days beside her great Nanny in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home.
The kindness and care Mom received from the staff at the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home and from Doctor Collins, will never be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a later date in Dingwall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Parish, Dingwall. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.twcurry.com
