Marlene loved spending time at their summer home in Gabarus, NS where she and the love of her life, Adrian, ran a fishing business together for almost 20 years. She loved the business, made friends of their customers and became known as the "Lobster Lady" to many. Marlene loved their yearly road trips across the maritimes with their camper once fishing season was done. She also loved traveling to spend time with her son and family as they moved throughout Atlantic Canada and the US. She also looked forward to the Christmas party she and Adrian threw each year for family and friends.
Marlene will forever be remembered for her gentle eyes, caring heart, her strong determined personality and the joy she radiated when she spoke of her son Anthony, step daughter Angela and grandchildren.
Adrian and Anthony would like to thank the staff in the ICU at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the care given to Marlene during her stay. The compassion and care they showed was amazing.
