Our hearts are forever broken over the loss of such an amazing loving woman. It is with heavy hearts and tears of sorrow that we announce on March 10 at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Janet Irene (Eveleigh) Hart, beloved wife of 54 years to Lawrence Hart, amazing mother to James, Michael and Tracy (Robert) Salsman, loving grandmother to Cassidy, Calli, MJ, Marissa and Tyler passed away at 73. She was a beloved sister to Walter (Rita), Jean Mountney, Marilyn MacLean and Darlene Eveleigh.
Janet’s loving and caring heart has been felt by more people than we could possibly name. Her influence will always be felt by her family and friends and she will be missed for many years to come.
Janet is predeceased by her son Alexander in infancy and her parents Alex and Janet (Bird) Eveleigh.
As per her request, there will be no service, however, her cremated remains will be laid to rest in Brookside Cemetery later in the spring.
