Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Eldred Sr. and Annie (Jackson) Eaton.
Ralph attended Cumberland schools and went on to work for many years as a pressman in the local printing industry.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching football. Ralph’s greatest passion was his love of God, country and his family.
After relocating to Porter Maine in 1981. He worked at Maine printing for many years where he retired in 1999. He spent his retirement traveling around the country, trapping & gardening.
He moved to Swansea MA in 2013, and began attending His Providence Church until moving to Charwell Nursing Facility and into John Clark Senior Living , Middletown, RI.
Survivors include his son, Ronald L. Eaton and his wife Doreen of Swansea, his daughter, Kathy Berry and her husband Rick of Standish, ME, daughter-in-law, Cheryl Eaton of Swansea, wife of the late Ralph Eaton,Jr. , and son in-law Jim Anderson of Smithfield, husband of the late Christine Eaton Anderson along with 12 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at John Clark Senior Living for the exceptional care they provided to Ralph. A special thank you to his nurse Sharon Byrd for her compassionate care during his final days.
