James A. “Jimmy” Miranda, age 26, passed away peacefully at his home in Warren, comforted by his family Monday, December 16, 2019. Born in East Ridge, TN he was the son of John Miranda III and Rachael (Price) Miranda.
A graduate of East Providence High School, Class of 2011, he attended classes at Community College of Rhode Island. An artist, he was skilled at pen and ink drawing, was a movie buff, enjoyed loud heavy metal music and mythology. Jimmy had a sharp mind and great sense of humor. A car and motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed four wheeling and RC Cars. A big fan of X Box games his gamer tag was “Fourwheeljimmy”.
In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother Brandon Miranda, maternal grandfather, Garry Price, paternal grandfather, John Miranda and his wife Jacqueline, one aunt, Alicia Eastwood; uncles, Aaron Price and Scott Miranda; many cousins, friends, his dog, Lola and cat, Lego. He was the grandson of the late Emily Osborne and Deborah Miranda, and nephew of the late Renee St. Ours and Jesse Turner.
His visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM. Burial will be private.
