It’s hard to find words to write, the news of Scott’s passing has truly broken my heart. I can’t begin to imagine how broken hearted Aunty Lyn, Erin and Kimberly must be, I love you guys so much and wish I could be there for you today of all days. 

Scotty is my first cousin of three, he has been a big brother figure to me due being surrounded by girls in our families, we were the closest thing each of us had to a brother. 

We were lucky as kids growing up in different countries to be able to see each other so often. I remember the time you snuck me into paintball as I was only 16 and we had the time of our lives. Scotty loved coming to Australia we made so many great memories together - too many to mention.

Fast forward to July 2017, Briellyn and I were lucky enough to visit Canada, we got to a see how good you were to Grandma before she passed but most of all we will forever cherish the day we spent with you in downtown Vancouver. It all began with a bite to eat and a visit to Grandma, then a walk around Stanley Park (because you were not having a bar of riding a bike), we mesmerised as a fisherman gutted a Salmon off the wharf and a harbour seal  was swimming about waiting for a feed.  
We finished the with a cheeky beer at your local where one of your mates mentioned the BC Lions were playing down the road, so the next thing you knew the three of us were off to the footy. We didn’t have a clue of the rules but you taught us everything play by play. 

Love you Cuz, these memories and many more will be with us always. You had a heart of gold, a cheeky smile and wit but most of all you loved unconditionally. I think about you every day and I know that you will be in my heart always. I miss you so much. 

This is not goodbye, it’s see ya later - RIP Scotty x

Dear Lynn

I keep struggling to find the right words to share with you about the loss of Scott, but there really aren't any right words. The loss of a child is always so heartbreaking.

I know that Scott was dearly loved by his family and friends, and the memories of him will always be with you.

We remember Scott as a quiet spoken and gentle soul who consistently gave us a ready smile and a hug on greeting, leaving the impression he was genuinely pleased to attend family gatherings.  With his sense of humour, over the years he loved to tease and laugh with his cousins. It is profoundly sad that Scott has left us and he will be missed.

Dear Lynn, Erin,Kim,
We are all so very  sorry for your tremendous loss.This is not the order in life, so your sadness is truly  heartbreaking for everyone.
Scott always had that mischievous grin, even as a kid when he would get Dave, or Noodles, as Scott called him,  to lie down on the cement,and then he would proceed to ride his bike up a homemade ramp and while still grinning,  he would then  fly over the grounded Noodles.
Scott would never accept dinner invitations as he was afraid that I would serve him wieners and beans, which,he soon convinced his sisters, that a normal family would never eat!  Weiners and beans soon  became the fear of all the kids in the cul du sac. He was a character with a quick wit and great sense of humour even as young boy.
 Your love for Scott and the many memories may get you through the most difficult days.Your laughter will be through tears,but Scott will always be with you in your hearts. Now he is with Lorne.



Dear Scotty,
My heart is broken as I write these words. You know that I love you and that you have been like a brother to me. You will always have a special place in my heart. You have been a significant part of my life and I am grateful for every minute we spent together. So many laughs and fun times. I will miss you every day.

It is through tears I try and write this trying to come up with the right words to say. Auntie Lynn, Erin and Kim I send you my love, deepest condolences and strength you will need to get through such a difficult time. Please know you are in our thoughts and hearts and if circumstances could be different  we would be there to support you . My memories of Scott; he always had a smile on his face, was kind and gentle and loved our Grandparents to bits. He was always there for them and had such an amazing bond with them. He was taken too soon but I feel he is back with those he loved so deeply. Goodbye Cuz ❤
