Our dear father Neil has passed away after an amazing life of 102 years. He was an incredible man and touched the lives of so many. Neil Cook was born in 1919, on a farm in Marengo, Saskatchewan. During his time in the Royal Canadian Air Force, he was temporarily stationed in Vancouver and eventually settled there after the war. He is fondly remembered by his 4 children: Greg, Carmen, Neil, and Jayne, his daughters-in-law Peggy and Dawn, his sons-in-law Merv and Martin, and his grandson Adam. Neil was a fascinating man and had a variety of interesting careers in his lifetime: farmer, lawyer, real estate developer, mining, radio host, and writer. He was a firm believer in the power of positive thinking which he credited (along with blueberries and apple cider vinegar) for his long and healthy life.
Details for a Celebration of Life are TBA.
