Marjorie passed away with her loving husband by her side after a long battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her daughter Loren, and her parents. She is survived by her husband Kenneth, daughters; Kathryn, Julia and her granddaughter Jaime. Also survived by her sisters; Donna, Maxine and brother Byron. She was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan and raised in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Marjorie graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Nursing. She started her career in nursing in England and France, but spent the majority of her career in British Columbia. She met her husband Kenneth in San Francisco, California after leaving France, married in 1965 and settled in British Columbia to raise her family. Marjorie was an exceptional athlete, she especially enjoyed; baseball, tennis and curling where she made many life long friends and loved them all. A special thank you to Dr. Christian Kollmannsberger and nurse Leslie for their ongoing care and support. She will be forever in our hearts and missed dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 28th, 2016 at 1:00 pm at
Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre 14831-28th Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia.
