It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Larry Douglas Gillard on December 3, 2017 in Surrey, B.C. with family by his side. Larry’s life journey came to an end after a 34 year struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
Larry is predeceased by his Mother Dorothy, Father Jack and Mom Margit.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 46 years Kathy, Brother Glenn (Lou Ann) Gillard, Sister Deana (Alex) Aitchison and Brother Gary Elston. Nieces Taryn and Alissa Gillard, Nephews Jared (Alicia) Gillard, Jeff and Joel Aitchison, Scott and Rob Elston, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre in Surrey, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00pm.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Residence at Morgan Heights in Surrey, for their wonderful care and compassion.
