passed away on Sunday September 22, 2024.
Joseph was born in 1947 in Germany to Olga and Jonas Zemaitis. After WW2 as a toddler along with his older brother Will, the entire family immigrated to Montreal then on to Vancouver, Canada.
Joseph spent his life living in Vancouver working at the Pacific Elevators. Which he worked at since he was 17 years of age. He was very proud of making it to number one on the seniority list. He enjoyed fishing, loved airplanes, golf, and poker.
Joseph was father to Shannon, Sierrah and Joseph Jr. Grandfather to Bailey, Delainy, Kirah, Jayden, and Carter. Brother to Will Zemaitis (Norma) and Rose Sinclair (George). Uncle to Jason Zemaitis, Kristina Sinclair, Adam Sinclair.
Preceding Joseph in death are his daughter, Sierrah; and parents, Olga and Jonas.
Finally at peace, we say goodbye to Joe. Until we meet again.
The family will be having a private service.
