Helen Mae Crozier James was born in Brandon, Manitoba to parents Elmer and Ivy Crozier. She was pre-deceased by her husbands, Bruce James (1999), George Boulet (2021), brother, James Crozier (2008), and son in-law, Abram Pauls (2024). She is survived by her loving family: son Larry and wife Carol James, son Daniel and wife Joanne James, and daughter Joni Pauls; grandchildren, Melody, Leah, Dylan, Avery, Jordan, Nicole, Cherie, and Nathan; great grandchildren, Jacob, Isabel, Ayla, Ethan, Poppy, Jonah, Kamden, Madison, Nolan, Reese, Brayden, Cole, Corbin, Kael, Miles, Spencer, Holly, Violet, Lily, and Liam.
Helen lived an active, vibrant, and productive life. She was a loving and dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She poured her heart and soul into her family and friends, cultivating meaningful connections that were unique and special with each one. She enriched the lives of others with her gentle, non-judgmental, and generous gifts of love and labour.
Helen’s talents knew no bounds, her many hobbies included: sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, and numerous other artistic expressions, as well she was an avid square and round dancer. She enjoyed camping, gardening, teaching Sunday School, and patiently sharing her skills with anyone interested in learning. She explored our great continent from coast to coast and ventured overseas to many European destinations.
Though small in stature, Helen was incredibly strong, resourceful, independent, and had a mighty will.
Helen is, and always will be, immeasurably missed and remembered with great fondness and respect by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Servies will be held at Victoria Memorial Park, 14831-28th Avenue, Surrey BC on Monday, November 4, 2024, viewing at 11:00 am with reception until 2 pm.
