Barbara Elaine Leeder

Barb was born and grew up in Winnipeg, MB until moving to White Rock in 1974; she worked in banking for many years where she made many friends in the community. In retirement, she found a love of painting and was an active member of the Semiahmoo Art Society.

Her joy in life was her family.

For her 3 boys, Rob, Lance, and Mike, she was the most wonderful Mum; we never doubted we were the center of her world. She was a supportive, encouraging role model, always there to talk about anything and everything.

For Rachel, Kiyoko, and Shelley, she was our second mum. She honoured and supported us with love and advice as the mothers to her beloved grandchildren.

For Hannah, Matthew, Kurt, Avery, Trevor and Evan, she was Nana; so present in our lives, we were truly blessed. We will cherish the stories, cuddles, games, talks, visits, and sleepovers where we could do no wrong and felt nothing but love.

For Joanna and family, she was “Bub”, a sister, a best friend, travel companion, and always there to lend an ear and to talk for hours.

There will be such a void of joy and positivity that you brought to all our lives. Your laughter will ring in our hearts and minds forever; you will be missed more than we can express.
