Alberta Joyce Mason

Alberta was a loving Mom to her three children Rory, Dale (Tracey), Myrna (Chris), Grandmother to Jordan (Kate), Eric and Jeremy (Kyhati), a loving sister to Dawn and Gloria (Rod) and “Auntie Bert” to many nieces and nephews.

She is pre deceased by her parents Frank Brinkworth and Hazel Walker (Jimmy).

Born Alberta Joyce Brinkworth in Lipton, Saskatchewan in 1937, Alberta had many special places where she shared her beautiful spirit including Princeton, Powell River, Vancouver, Grande Prairie, Prince George and of course White Rock…her home of over 25 years.

Her love of family, softball, dancing, bowling, browsing the mall for hours and of course any type of party helped write her beautiful life story.

She absolutely loved getting dressed up and had earrings and bracelets and of course hats to match any outfit! If a costume was involved, even better.

Her easy outgoing nature led her to have many special friends along her journey and we are comforted to know she is once again sharing a glass of wine or a dance with her best friends Sandra and Joan.

She worked as an esteemed receptionist for many years in the forest and health industries but true love happened when she got the acting bug. She went on to be a popular extra actress with her favourite gig on “Once upon a Time” and was truly in her happy place when the cameras rolled but secretly had a very special fondness for the catering offered while on set. She loved her treats!

Her warm smile was so beautiful and she always shared it so freely.

May she rest peacefully knowing that she was truly loved and that her beautiful light will continue to shine in our memories until we meet again.

Celebration of her life will be held on September 17th at 17363 26th Avenue from 2pm - 5pm
