Victoria "Vicki" Tolson Flores was a generous and loving wife, sister, aunt, step-mother grandmother, and friend. She left this world unexpectedly to be in the presence of Jesus on January 19, 2022 at age 68.
Vicki was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on December 23, 1953 but lived the majority of her life in California. Longtime resident of Fresno, California, she retired from Jefferson-Smurfit after 25 years of excellent service ( and intimidating everyone but Ray Flores apparently - Whom she would eventually learn was her perfect match, soul mate, and later would be her husband).
Vicki loved spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking, crafting and sewing, shopping the best deals, and traveling the world with Ray - Even after receiving a heart transplant in 2014, they still continued to live life to the fullest by traveling, attending concerts, and visiting museum exhibits. Vicki was a giver, one of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them rotten. Many say that Vicki found her life's calling after tragically losing their son to a drunk driver; she became a fierce advocate for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), giving voices to victims and their loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Giles Kennedy (1944) and Elnita Kennedy (2012), and step son, Rick Flores (2010). She leaves behind her husband, Ray Flores of Surprise, Az; brother, Lance Kennedy of Arvada, Co; sister, Vondel McGrath of Somis, Ca; and several nieces, nephews, step-children, grandchildren, and great nieces and nephews.
She resided in Surprise, Arizona at the time of her passing. Services will be held at a later time.
