Robert Louis Davis

Robert was the beloved husband of Carol E. (Roseman) Davis; loving father of Craig Davis ( Ellen), Seattle, WA., Eva Davis, Fitzhugh, OK., Suzanne Johnson (Daniel) N. Ogden, UT., Robert Davis (Michelle) Cottonwood Heights, UT; and Larry Davis (Cheryl) Huntley, IL.; grandfather of Kari Dreyling (Tim); and Jen, WA., Kyle and Hailey Davis, IL; Sarah Johnson, UT; and Elliott Davis, UT.

Bob joined the Air Force in 1950 training in radar repair and as a pilot flying fighter jets until 1956. In August 1956 he became a pilot for United Airlines and retired from flying DC10's in December 1989. His United Airlines service was out of Midway and O'Hare Airports in Chicago, Illinois.

Bob was born to Louis M. Davis and Esther Lorine (Hartman) Davis on December 9, 1929 in North Judson, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and only brother, George W. Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the National WASP WWII Museum, National Air and Space Museum, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be at 10 am, Monday, March 24, 2014 with funeral services at 12 (Noon) at the O'Donnell Funeral Home, 302 Lane Street, North Judson, Indiana.

Military Honors and Interment immediately following at Highland Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana.
