"An amazing mother (of Andy and Dan), a best friend (Madalynn), a daughter (of Joseph and Opal McCombs) and sister (of Don and Sondra), a grandmother (of Seth, Senna, Kyle, Manna, and Aubrey) and friend of so many —always giving, always lifting others up.
She was a kidney transplant recipient, a coach, and someone who lived her faith with unwavering strength.
Our guiding light, our protector, our number one fan.
She always made sure we never felt deprived. She gave and gave, never asking for anything in return, and she did it all with a heart full of grace.
She was our greatest role model. She taught us how to kick a soccer ball, throw a baseball, and shoot a basketball—never missing a single one of our games, all the way through high school.
She was there for every milestone, every challenge, every victory. And even when the world felt tough, we always knew she was there with love and encouragement.
Her impact reached far beyond our family. Her example of living out her beliefs will stay with us forever.
She made our lives richer just by being in it, and we will miss her more than words can say."
A visitation for Karen will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
