Helen Jean Crawford

She was preceded in death by her parents Minnie & Raleigh Dove, her husband of 65 yrs. Peter F. Crawford Sr. and her son Peter F Crawford Jr. She was the last remaining child of six children and joins her brothers, Jim, Bill and Ray as well as her sisters, Margie and Ruth and son in law Frank Nelson.

She is survived by her son Philip A. Crawford, Sr., his wife KathiRose Crawford, daughter Cheryl A. Nelson and four grandchildren; Renèe Augustin, Philip A. Crawford, Jr., Tiffany and Chantel Nelson. Several nieces and nephews.

Helen was a devoted wife, loving and kind mother, sister and friend. She was a faithful and supportive member of the Goldenaires of Roxbury for over 30 years; a social and community based group of women. The group is part of the Freedom House in Roxbury.
